I thought I was going to give this book 5 stars when I started. I got completely suckered in by the excerpt, so I bought it and didn't put it down until I was done. The beginning was great; but, when I got to the end, I felt like I had been waiting for the big climax only for there to not really be one. And I found myself very angry at Jake because he was one of those whiney gay guys who keeps fighting with his boyfriend to change because he thought his boyfriend was ashamed of being gay, only for his boyfriend to change, but he pushes him away anyway, then decides he completely messed up, and he's the one afraid to change. I really wanted to smack him. And for the love of god, could Jake have been mad at Adam, got everything out and then moved on. His wishy-washy I'm still mad, no I forgive him crap got on my nerves too.
