One Real Thing

One Real Thing - Anah Crow, Dianne Fox I thought I'd like this one more than I did. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this book, but it took forever for something to happen, and the whole Holly has his life together, for a very short amount of time, and suddenly saves Nick was just highly unbelievable. I don't think it's as easy to kick one addiction, let alone all of the addictions Holly has, as this book portrays.

I figured out Caroline pretty much from the beginning although I didn't know it would be with Max. But who would ever want to be married to a woman like her?! She clearly didn't care about Nick at all. She was never happy to see him or talk to him, and she made him seem like a chore. She and Nick could have ended their marriage much earlier, so this story could have gotten moving forward with Nick and Holly.
