I feel like I should have given this 4 or 5 stars because it could/should have been a really good book; however, I can't because so many times I just wanted to skip through parts, and I definitely wanted to smack Candace upside the head. I could not stand her I love you, and I'm gonna have sex with you only to push him away and say I can't be with you, and I'm confused/messed up and whatever her other excuses were. She got on my absolute LAST NERVE! She felt more like a teenager to me than a 23 year old woman. I understand that her family has always been controlling, but she finally made a stand against them only to run right back because she was afraid to trust Brian. If I were Brian, I would have ditched her!
